Allegro choirs give children grades 2–9 a place to learn, sing, and perform with confidence.

Our choirs are more than rehearsals.
They are a place for friendship, creativity, and the thrill of performing together. Each ensemble nurtures children at their unique stage of development, with opportunities to shine throughout the year.
Grades 2-3
Vivace
Non-auditioned introductory choir where children learn the basics of singing, ear training, and music literacy in a fun, positive environment. Uses Orff-Kodaly methods to make learning playful and engaging.
Rehearsals: Thursdays 6:20–7:20 PM at Eastview High School
Performances: December, March, May concerts
Registration: Open until full. 1st graders may be considered based on availability.
Grades 4-6
Prima Voce
Intermediate-level choir combining foundational training with creativity. Students strengthen musicianship while gaining confidence and joy in performance.
Rehearsals: Thursdays 6:20–7:45 PM at Eastview High School
Performances: November, February, May concerts
Registration: No audition required. Open on a first-come, first-served basis until full.
Grades 6-9
Bel Canto
Advanced treble choir with an emphasis on vocal technique, ear training, and sight-reading. Students learn expressive performance and have opportunities for special events (past performances include Orchestra Hall and national conferences).
Rehearsals: Thursdays 6:20–8:00 PM at Eastview High School
Performances: November, February, May concerts
Registration: No audition required. Open on a first-come, first-served basis until full.

Rather than focusing on competition, Allegro creates a space where every singer contributes to something bigger than themselves. Vocal training grows alongside teamwork and friendship, so students don't just become better singers, they become more confident performers and people.
